are inviting leaders and venues for the 2003 Program, a comprehensive
view of the courses can be

Notes and
support materials will be provided for participants for each face-to-face
PD session.
‘Literacy, Numeracy and ICT in the Early Years Classroom’ PD Program
The ‘Literacy,
Numeracy and ICT in the Early Years Classroom’ PD Program for Teachers
involves a 10 hour PD
program including Module 1 with 6 hours face-to-face PD program and
Module 2 with 4 hrs credit online PD program. The face-to-face PD module
includes:
Session 1 – ICT for the Literacy Block … in the Early Years
Session 2 – ICT for the Numeracy Block
Session 3 – ICT in the Integrated Curriculum
‘ICT in the Middle Years Classroom’ PD Program
Similary,
the ‘ICT in the Middle Years Classroom’ PD Program for Teachers
involves a 10 hr PD program including Module 1 with 6 hrs face-to-face
PD program and Module 2 with 4 hrs credit on-line PD program.
The face-to-face PD module includes:
Session 1 – ICT in Literacy across the KLAs … in the Middle
Years
Session 2 – ICT in the Integrated and Thinking Curriculum – Part 1
Session 3 – ICT in the Integrated and Thinking Curriculum - Part
2
It is planned that the face-to face PD Workshops will be conducted as
a series of after-school PD
sessions over a period of three or more weeks in the Metropolitan Regions
and as both one day
regional PD conference and after school programs in the country Regions.
Likewise, it is planned that
the online PD program would involve the PD participant teachers working
with their PD leader in an online
discussion list, discussing practical day-to-day implementation issues
as they use ICT tools and complete
ICT based activities with their students.
